There are so many things wrong with this,,,I am not trying to be a jerk here. You lines are WAY too thick and often haphazard and unfocused. When inking Peter's work you have to "go deep". Tiny lines are what makes his work stand out, thick lines should be avoided. His work reminds me quite a bit of George Perez's stuff. Try finding some Perez work with Tanghal inks to get an idea of how you should approach this work. I don't like giving negative reviews but I only give them when I think that maybe you have potential. If you were truly terrible I wouldn't have bothered to crit this work.
I may not have been as eloquent as I wanted to be. What I mean about your work is this. It seems that you just wanted to "finish" the piece rather than enjoy it. Many would be inkers think that speed is of the essence,,and eventually it will be but first you need to LOVE the work. Make love to it, be intimate with it. That will allow you to find your own style of inking. Once you have your style down, speed will follow, our muscle memory will make things go much more quickly.
